How far in advance should I start planning a corporate retreat?

For groups under 30, 8–12 weeks is comfortable. For 30–100 people, plan on 12–16 weeks. For 100+, start 4–6 months out — venue inventory gets thin fast at that size. We can work faster (and often have), but earlier means more venue choices and better rates.
